Shiny Awards Finalists

Swedish director Malin Ingrid and German director Marko Roth were shortlisted for the Shiny Awards. Both directors films were chosen to be screened for the audience and judges at the awards ceremony and were very well received. Judges included major players from W+K, and top industry professionals.

Malin showcased her activist film on climate change made for the UNDP (United Nations Development Program). With a powerful subject and supported by the UNDP, it’s no surprise that Malin made a positive impression on the judges and was invited to the stage to speak about her work.

Marko presented his short ‘The Encounter’. A beautifully shot film about travel, connection and love. We were so pleased to showcase a piece of work that highlights Marko’s many film making talents.
