Bio - Andreas Roth

Andreas is a multi-disciplined director who loves to create films with a cinematic look and distinctive, textured style. Born and raised in Hamburg, Andreas dreamed of becoming a tennis pro, fortunately for the film world this did not happen. Instead he went on to a direct a hit commercial film for “Dirt Devil” racking up over 30million views on Vimeo. Earning the official title of 5th most viewed film that year and also earning a place in the permanent collection at The Museum of Modern Art in NYC.

He has twice received the Young Directors Award in Cannes and has helmed campaigns for brands such as BMW, McDonalds, O’neil, Opel, FILA, Uniqlo and many more. He has also partnered with top agencies like R/GA, Publicis, JWT, WCRS, Dentsu, Heimat and Jung von Matt.

With a list of awards and nominations from a multitude of global festivals to his name such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, ADC, Epica and Eurobest, Andreas continues to go from strength to strength, developing his craft on both the commercial and feature film landscape.
